CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has stated that consensus with the ruling parties would be forged provided the government revoked the newly registered Constitution amendment bill.At a press conference organised by the Press Chautari Nepal’s Banke Chapter in Nepalgunj today, leader Oli commented that the country was misled by the politicians who he blamed were confusing the people in the name of identity. The former Prime Minister said, “The political crisis is caused by those politicians who register a party in the name of class and do ethnicity-based politics.”Oli was of the confidence that the Constitution amendment bill registered on November 29 in an attempt to bring on board the dissenting Madhesi parties would not be endorsed by the Parliament. The main opposition party leader argued that there was no alternative to the government to revoke the bill as he claimed that the public were not happy with the government’s move. - See more at: http://www.lightnepalvideo.com/videos/former-pm-oli-speech-at-press-conference-at-nepalgunj/#sthash.rf51UdOS.dpuf
